Associate Pastor Dan Alexander
I dont remember a time when I wasnt involved in music. Its been such a big part of my life. But it wasnt until I became a follower of Jesus at the age of twelve years old that I really experienced the joy of making music for the living God that I serve! Since I married Linda (a great pianist!) in 1977, weve been serving as teammates for the Lord through music together.
The Bible says that God seeks true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and truth (John 4:23-24). My desire is that Parkview Church of the Nazarene would be filled with true worshippers joyfully lifting our voices, living our lives in harmony with Him and each other, and praising God with our whole heart. I would not trade this experience of serving the Lord at a marvelous church like Parkview for anything.
I appreciate all those individuals that have dedicated their lives to enhance the music ministry that has been developed at Parkview. The sound, powerpoint, video, and lighting techinitions have been a tremendous blessing to our congregation. The instrumentalist have uplifted my spirit on many ocassion. Finally, soloist, duets, trios, quartets, sanctuary choir, and praise team have provided a heart full of worship to the Lord Jesus Christ. As a family we worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth.
